Overview

All City Arts College is a new educational institution that has creativity, social justice, agency and well-being at its core. In the same way that Art Schools operate All City Arts College will be an exciting, engaging and explorative learning journey not an exam factory. Alongside our curriculum offer All City Arts College will provide social justice through community impact and social mobility, creative learning and pedagogical innovation. We believe that a holistic and creative education is the catalyst for personal, professional and cultural transformation. We are in the process of opening a non-fee-paying independent school for 14-19 year olds. We will work with all students, but our admissions policy will be based on inclusivity, promoting diversity, working with SEND. We will prioritise working with those students who have struggled to engage in mainstream settings and those who have been excluded from them. The college will be co-located within a community of creative businesses and synchronous third sector organisations, based in a central London location providing access to other creative businesses. We will be funded by philanthropic giving combined with grants and funding from charities, grants, foundations & local authority funding combined with revenue generated by the community of creative businesses that the college will be co-located within.

WHO WE ARE

We are a highly experienced team who have worked for many years in mainstream, alternative and informal settings and therefore understand the ways in which creative learning in a democratic classroom can empower disaffected students and re-engage them with learning.
