Our goal is to provide access to education for students from backgrounds that are underserved and underrepresented in the creative industries.
We work with all students, but our admissions policy prioritises inclusivity, diversity and supporting those with additional needs who have struggled to engage in mainstream settings. In our experience, these young people are often very able, but for a range of diverse reasons have failed to thrive.
Forming significant and secure relationships with our students is the most effective way of affecting change in their lives. We recognize that young people who have experienced barriers to achievement will need wrap-around care to address the obstacles they face, and endeavour to provide counselling and family support, help with housing, financial management and legal advice to ensure that students can focus on learning.
We work closely with commissioners through the referral process to ensure that students and their parents see entry into All City Arts College as a positive way to re-engage in education.
